First and foremost, I am a God fearing mother to a delightfully rambunctious little boy and wife to a wonderful man who happens to be my best friend (and partner in crime)!!!  I am also a professional musician, aspiring photographer, and all-around life-crisis manager to the world's future leaders (or the future inmates of America....whichever).  Yes, you guessed it....my main profession is that of a high school educator.  My hobby for taking pictures of my performing students quickly transformed into a passion for capturing unique stories in a wide range of venues.  As of now, I am focusing on portrait, family, and performing arts photography, but I hope to one day be able to expand my knowledge and skill set to that of a wedding or fashion photographer!  Currently however, one thing is for certain...I am very picky.  I will never rush through a shoot with the hopes that I captured something I can work with (or photoshop to make look better later).  Instead, I make sure to take time and really nail the shots on-site.  I really enjoy using photoshop for different effects, but I WILL NOT use it to "fix" bad shots that should have been re-taken in the first place.   I promise to spend as much time as it takes to get the perfect shots, by my AND my clients' standards.
